Jon Avganim is a seasoned entrepreneur, real estate developer, and inves- tor with a diverse background and a track record of success across multi- ple industries. With a strong focus on real estate, Jon has owned and developed dozens of properties across the U.S. His deep understanding of market dynamics, combined with his ability to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities, has been instrumental in delivering high returns and creating long-term value for investors and stakeholders.

Jon is a strategic leader known for his hands-on approach and ability to see projects through from concept to completion. He specializes in transform- ing properties into high-performing assets by combining creative vision with disciplined execution.

Beyond his business pursuits, Jon is also dedicated to philanthropy, supporting numerous charitable causes and instilling these values in his family. He has served in various leadership roles within nonprofit organizations and actively works to create positive social impact both locally and globally.

Gil Charash

Gil Charash is a licensed California State Contractor (#840724) and an experienced real estate developer with over two decades of expertise in financing, development, and acquisitions. Since 1998, Gil has been involved in a diverse range of projects, including custom home builds, multifam- ily development, and residential remodels, successfully navigating the complexities of each to deliver high-quality results. His career spans the entire spectrum of real estate development, from the rehabilitation of apartment buildings to the construction of custom homes.

With a career total exceeding $1 billion in real estate development proj- ects, Gil has a proven track record of managing large-scale developments and creating value through strategic planning and execution. His focus on quality, attention to detail, and ability to optimize project outcomes have made him a trusted leader in the industry.

Gil’s extensive hands-on experience allows him to effectively oversee all aspects of development and construction, where his strategic insight and operational expertise drive successful project outcomes and long-term growth. Mark Small

Mark Small is a seasoned construction expert and real estate developer with over two decades of experience overseeing a diverse array of development projects. Since 1998, Mark has been involved in projects ranging from small-scale residential remodels to the development of multifamily buildings and the construction of both small and large custom homes. As the leader of the company’s construction and completion operations, he ensures that every project is executed with precision and a focus on quality.

Mark’s affable communication and people skills have been instrumental in building strong relationships with financial partners, subcontractors, and property owners. His collaborative approach and reputation for delivering high-quality results have earned him the trust and respect of both his team and the communities where he builds.

A native of Los Angeles, California, Mark studied Management and Psychology at California State University, Northridge, and the University of California, Santa Barbara. His strong educational background, paired with his hands-on experience, allows him to navigate the complexities of each project with confidence and a deep understanding of both the technical and human elements of real estate development.

Shahar Kalev has been investing and developing successfully in the Single Family Residential and Multifamily Residential markets for over 20 years. As the President and Founder of Pyramid Development Group, Shahar has led the firm’s investment, development, and construction operations, and has been involved in the development of multiple residential units totaling over $250M of development costs performed under his combined team management. Shahar’s development spans from the entitlement phase to construction completion while ensuring accurate market analysis before acquisition and exceptional management throughout the construction phase that enabled him to meet or exceed schedule and budget expectations.

Since founding the firm, Shahar has established Pyramid Development Group as one of the premier residential developments firms of the greater Los Angeles area. Shahar has a wealth of experience in dealing with many government and public agencies such as LADWP, HUD, CRA, and the LAHD which enabled him to keep projects on track during development. Shahar is a CA-licensed contractor and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Economics from UCLA.
